OpenAI has announced the launch of o1-preview, a new series of artificial intelligence models designed to solve complex problems in the fields of science, programming, and mathematics.
Available from September 12, these models have improved capabilities for deep reasoning and analysis, allowing them to effectively deal with complex problems that were previously inaccessible. Initially, o1-preview is integrated into ChatGPT and is available through an API, with plans for regular updates and improvements.
In addition, OpenAI is strengthening security measures and collaborating with leading research institutes in the US and UK to ensure reliability and compliance with new standards for the use of artificial intelligence.
