Microsoft Launches Arm-Based Cobalt 100 Processors on Azure
Microsoft has announced the availability of new Arm-based Cobalt 100 processors on the Azure cloud platform.
The chips, built using TSMC's 5nm technology and equipped with 128 cores, are designed for a variety of VM types, including shared and memory-optimized workloads.
The new instances deliver up to 1.5x the performance of previous Azure Arm solutions, with improved networking and local storage.
