Azure Pipelines is upgrading its hosted agents with the latest operating systems to ensure secure and up-to-date environments. The ubuntu-latest image will soon transition to Ubuntu 24.04, while MacOS 15 Sequoia and Windows 2025 images are expected to be generally available later this year. Additionally, older images like Ubuntu 20 will be deprecated.
