Microsoft Launches New Azure L-series v4 Storage-Optimized VMs

In June 2025, Microsoft made three new Azure virtual machine families under the L-series v4 generally available. These VMs have local NVMe SSD storage up to 23 TB, higher CPU, better network and remote storage speeds, and use the new Azure Boost SSDs and platform.
