Azure to Remove Default Outbound Internet Access for VMs in 2025

Starting 30 September 2025, new Virtual Machines and some new networks in Microsoft Azure will not get outbound Internet access by default. Users will need to set up a specific way for outbound connections if they want their VMs to reach the Internet.
