GitHub now offers a modernize-dotnet agent that helps developers assess legacy .NET apps and generate upgrade plans. You can run it directly from Visual Studio, VS Code, GitHub Copilot CLI, or GitHub. The workflow keeps modernization inside familiar tools, which cuts the overhead of moving old projects forward.
