Azure Test Plans adds Actual Result field for manual tests
Microsoft has opened a public preview of the Actual Result (AR) feature for manual testing in Azure Test Plans. The update lets testers record the real outcome of a test step during execution — a capability the community has repeatedly requested. Manual testing remains a core part of many teams’ workflows, and the new field aims to make test evidence clearer.
