Azure DevOps REST API tweak cuts CPU use in half for Git policies

Microsoft engineers improved Git policy management in Azure DevOps with a small change to the platform’s REST API. The result: about 2× less CPU usage and execution times that are 10–15× faster when managing policies at scale. The update is already live for all Azure DevOps users.
