Visual Studio 2026 Insiders ships with TypeScript 7 Beta by default
Visual Studio 2026 18.6 Insiders 3 now enables TypeScript 7 Beta by default through the built-in TypeScript SDK. That SDK provides the compiler and language service behind TypeScript and JavaScript support in Visual Studio. Any project that relies on the built-in SDK will now run on the TypeScript 7 Beta native preview.
