Will AI kill programming? Even critics doubt this

Danish developer and blogger Mark Seemann has unexpectedly questioned his own criticism of AI. He acknowledges that his concerns about using LLMs in development — from security issues to bugs in code — may be the result of "motivated thinking," i.e., trying to protect a familiar craft. But the main question remains: even if 90% of fears are far-fetched, which of the remaining threats will really hit the industry – and when will it happen?
